We are in Houston visiting Jeffs best friend, Mark and his wife, Jenny. It's their son, Zachs 3rd birthday party. We are so excited to be here for it!! Of all mornings Brityn is still sleeping and it's almost 9!!!

Forward facing & last night in Georgia July 19

Brityn sat in her carseat sitting face forward today! We were driving around the mountains of Dehloniga. She did great!!


After our long drive, we went over to Pam's house for burgers with everyone.


It was a really great trip! It was fun to spend time with Jeff's Georgia family, Janet, and Jake. We look forward to another trip soon!

20 pounds!!! - July 13

Brityn had a checkup at Dr. Hopkins and finally hit the 20 pound marker!!! Woo hoo!!!

Georgia Day 1

We made it to Georgia today!! Spent the night in Mississippi last night for Brityns first hotel stay. She was very hyper and didn't pass out until almost 11!!






Brityn had her first spaghetti tonight at Sherrill's house in Georgia. She ate a big kid sized plate and almost polished the whole thing off!! I don't know who enjoyed it more -her eating or me watching the mess she made all over herself! She rubbed her eyes a couple times which made her face almost completely red!!


She had lots of fun meeting her cousins, playing by the lake, and riding around with Jammie, Sherrill, and the kids on the golfcart!!

Daddy Mac's Visit July 10-13

My dad (Daddy Mac) decided to spend a week in Dallas visiting us girls! He has NEVER done this before, so it was really special to get him all to ourselves! And ESPECIALLY wonderful to see him with Brityn. I have always had a very special relationship with him, so it was a special treat to watch him with Brityn playing on the floor, pushing her in the cart at Target making her squeal with laughter, sitting in the backseat of the car trying to keep her happy in her carseat, talking to her over the stairs when he came down in the mornings and she crawled as fast as she could to get to him, etc!! She has really grown attached to him which is such a joy to me!!!

He drove back home with us from Eldorado and stayed at
our house Sunday-Tuesday. He's coming to Brityn's doctor's appointment tomorrow with me too! Then we will head to lunch with Shannon and Teal. We will miss Mom when she gets here cause we leave for Georgia on Thursday! Sad to miss her, but excited to visit Jeff's family!

Phoenix June 15-25

I'm going to have to catch up from the past month since I just discovered blogging! And can I say I'm already in love...

A couple days after Brityns birthday we headed out for Phoenix to visit one of my best friends from college, Emily. It was Brityns first roadtrip. We stopped and stayed in Midland with Daddy's cousins, Ken, Janis, Dawn, and Derrick the first night.









It was fun when we got to Phoenix cause B got to meet two new friends, Dylan and Wyat. Wyat is only two months older than B! We got some really great pictures and got to go to the mall (the Disney store for the first time), celebrate Fathers Day, swimming, meet and have lunch with several close friends. It was a great trip!









While we were there Brityns cousin, Jett was born. They are only 9 days apart!



We have friends who were able to get her and I a free ticket to fly home. I was super anxious about flying with her for the first time but she did great! We had lots of legroom cause we were directly behind first class, so she was able to sit on the floor for a bit and stand up. She ate lots of puffs and carrots and then passed out and slept the rest of the trip! We sat next to the nicest man who was expecting a baby of his own. When we landed Brityn was smiling at everyone as they deplaned. It was hilarious!! Then she would climb up on the seat and look out the window!





Such a fun trip!! Time to meet her new cousin, Jett!

Eldorado Roadtrip!

We are headed to Eldorado to visit my granny, aunt, and uncle! And even better Mom and Dad will be there!!

Brityn got her new big-girl carseat last night just in time!! It is so precious! So far so good...I think she likes it. When we went to Phoenix a couple weeks ago the second day was rough in her little carseat. After that, every time we would go to put her in it she was NOT happy!!!

These days there's not many things that make me happier than seeing Brityn loving on our families. Oh happy day!!
